MICHAEL A. MILLER

Michael Miller has over 28 years of expertise representing clients involved in complex legal disputes. Mike has handled and or tried cases to a verdict involving Oil & Gas, Rig and Pipeline Liability, Contractors, Engineers and Architects, Construction Defect, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Employment and Labor Liability, Hospitality, Transportation, Business Liability, Insurance Liability and catastrophic personal injury litigation. Mike has tried both plaintiff and defense cases to a verdict in various federal, state and administrative courts throughout the state of Texas. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1986, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mike also is Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated by his peers and is a member of the Dallas and State Bar Associations. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1985 and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1980. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Mike has been married 32 years and has three adult children.

CLARK S. BUTLER

Clark Butler has extensive experience in the areas of construction, commercial, trucking, personal injury, and appellate litigation. He began his legal career as a felony prosecutor and has successfully tried cases ranging from traffic tickets to murder and handled the appeals from convictions he and others have obtained. He also litigated asset forfeiture and juvenile matters. In 1999, he was hired as a Central Staff Attorney for the Dallas Court of Appeals, assisting all sitting and visiting judges in the drafting of opinions, both civil and criminal. Clark Butler is a shareholder of Miller Knauff Law Firm.

Clark Butler earned his B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and his J.D. from the Texas Tech School of Law. At Tech, he was a member of the Order of Barristers and represented Tech in several national moot court competitions.

Clark Butler was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1995. Since then, he has been licensed by all U.S. District Courts in Texas and Oklahoma, the Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas District and County Attorney’s Association. Recently, he became a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

CHRIS A. CUDE

Chris Cude joined the firm in June 2018 and has experience handling complex construction defect matters, premises liability, and personal injury claims. Prior to joining the firm, Chris gained valuable legal experience in the pharmaceutical litigation group with national law firm, Baron & Budd. Chris is admitted to the State Bar of Texas and licensed to practice in U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts.

Chris received his B.A. in Business Administration from Baylor University, and subsequently earned his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law. During law school, Chris volunteered with the Human Rights Initiative, an international group dedicated to helping abuse victims forge a path to safety, liberty, and opportunity. He also led a weekly mentorship program alongside local attorneys to raise awareness about domestic violence, and served as Acquisitions Editor for On the Cusp, the College of Law’s digital law journal published by members of the UNT Dallas Law Review.

Outside of work, Chris excels in leisure sports involving a minimal amount of athleticism, including darts and shuffleboard. He enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors with friends and family, preferable on a patio or the golf course. He is an active member at Northway Church where he serves weekly with 2nd – 5th grade students.

JOHNNIE DILLARD

Johnnie Dillard has over thirty years of legal experience, principally involving the management of complex litigation cases for both plaintiff and defendant clients. With a focus on construction defect, subrogation, and construction personal injury litigation, her career encompasses extensive trial experience in county, state and federal courts and includes the use of electronic, paperless technology in the courtroom. Johnnie received her paralegal certificate from the ABA-approved Southeastern Paralegal Institute in Dallas, Texas and has also been a Board Certified Paralegal by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, State Bar of Texas in Personal Injury Trial Law since 1995. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Johnnie is a lifelong resident of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and is married with four children.

SCOTT D. GREENER

Scott Greener's areas of expertise include medical malpractice, personal injury, insurance defense, subrogation and construction law. Previously Scott worked as an associate attorney at Adams & Coffey P.C., with a focus on the defense of personal injury suits. Scott was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2000 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court and Eastern District of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, DRI and the State Bar of Texas. He received his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2000, having been a member of the Texas Wesleyan Law Review, articles editor and member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honors fraternity. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Baylor University in 1996. Scott lives in Keller, Texas with his wife and three children. He coaches his son’s soccer and basketball teams, and is involved with Upwards Basketball and Keller Soccer Association.

JERRY "J.J." KNAUFF

Jerry "J.J." Knauff has over a decade of high-profile experience. His areas of expertise include oil and gas, commercial, construction defect, subrogation, appellate and personal injury litigation. Previously J.J. worked as a briefing attorney for Justice Tom James of the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas. J.J. was named to the Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers’ “Texas Rising Stars” list in 2010 and 2012, named Fort Worth’s “Man of the Year” by the Fort Worth Star Telegram (2002), and received the State Bar-LSD Legal Professionalism Award (2001). He has also authored articles for legal journals and presented to major legal conferences. J.J. was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2001, is admitted to practice before the Northern District of Texas, and is a member of the State Bar Association. J.J. received his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University in 2001 after serving as vice president of the Student Bar Association and business and marketing editor for the Texas Wesleyan Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in History from Texas Tech University in 1997. The father of four, J.J. has served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Wesleyan Law Review Alumni Association and as a director and volunteer for the Texas Wesleyan “Justice Do It” Pro Bono Program.

MURRAY J. ROSSINI

Murray J. Rossini's primary areas of expertise are commercial litigation, products liability defense, commercial construction defense, underground utility damage defense and oil and gas defense. Murray was an instructor in the Southern Methodist University, Paralegal Program in 1991. Murray was a Texas Survey Editor, Southwestern Law Journal (1985-86). Murray is the author of Comment, The Spectrum Scarcity Doctrine: A Constitutional Anachronism, 39 Sw. J.L 827 (1985); Contractor’s Liability for Damage to Underground Utilities – New Rules and Significant Cases, The Construction Law Journal, Vol. 5, No. 2 (Winter 2008). Murray was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1986 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association. Murray received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1986, took graduate studies in national security at Georgetown University and earned his Bachelor of Arts (Politics) from the University of Dallas in 1979. Mr. Rossini is rated 5.0, AV in the Martindale Hubble© peer review, 2012. Murray was awarded the Department of the Army Decoration for Meritorious Civilian Service (1981). Murray was a political appointee to the Department of the Army, Pentagon (1981-83). He is a member of the Federalist Society, and serves as an Elder and Sunday school team teacher at Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church.
